Dee is a beautiful, athletic 6-year-old 16.3hh Dark Bay Canadian Warmblood gelding. He is confirmed Second Level and schooling Third Level. He has three super paces, including a great walk with a good over track, uphill canter and lovely cadenced trot. Dee is easy to sit and would be a wonderful dressage horse for a Junior, Young Rider or Adult Amateur with potential to go FEI.
He has always been ridden and trained by his Adult Amateur rider in a lesson program. Dee was shown First Level in 2022 with scores up to the high 70s. In 2023, he showed Second Level with scores up to the high 60s. He has always come home from every show with a Championship and has won numerous high point and special awards, including the 2022 Robinson LLP Award of Excellence in Dressage. Dee was also the 2022 Alberta Provincial Champion at First Level with a score of 75.72% from two FEI judges, Cara Whitham and Brenda Minor.
This gelding has good conformation, straight legs and excellent feet. Dee is very personable and loves attention. He is easy to handle, has impeccable manners, clips, loads, bathes and no vices. He is a flashy, sweet gelding that will get you noticed in the ring! He has definitely lived up to his impressive dressage breeding that goes back to Donnerhall and Rubinstein.
He has loads of presence and personality with an incredible work ethic who would take a serious rider up through the levels with success. Dee is a very intelligent, sensitive and safe horse, light to the aids and comfortable to sit. He is a very steady campaigner who goes to work in any situation without fuss.
